I did a screenshot of this exercise mostly because it made me laugh. But also to show you what Duolingo, the language learning app, looks like.
The app turns learning a new language into a more interactive experience. But what sets it apart is how it rewards you and challenges you like a game. So getting to the next level and getting more “lingots” motivates you to keep “playing”. In the process, you learn a freaking language! They say their approach is more natural and learner-based than other programs.
They also say it’s harder to learn 2 languages at once, but I don’t even care. It’s so much fun I’m doing Spanish and Italian simultaneously (admittedly, more of my focus is on Spanish).
Out of all the things to do with my spare time, playing on Duolingo is one I don’t have to feel guilty about.
Good advice.
Sorry…should have said thank you.
I didn’t take offense to your comment! Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
Spanish and Italian for me. Again, most thankful.
Me, too! Spanish and Italian. I’m further in Spanish though. Italian is proving to be more difficult.
All good…a quality of life boost.
