[Re-Plug] How Do I Define My Life? In Two Magazines Worth of Clippings or Less

I used to use magazines to create collages for my bedroom walls. Recently, I re-subscribed to an old favorite magazine of mine (Rolling Stone) as part of a school fundraiser. Though wildly disappointed with the first two issues I received, I figured it would be a good chance to find the beauty in something less than perfect.

So I got to looking for things that could describe my life, my journey, and my identity. The hodge podge of words from both magazines comprised the answer.

Never hide
The Good, the Bad, and the Anarchy
“I’m a smart ass with a big mouth and no filters. I tend to feed the beast. I’ve learned to make fuel from the heat of burning bridges.” – Kurt Setter
Dream your heart out
My life is passionate, “smooth. I mean really smooth”, A labor of love, So not a love story
Mad as hell
Rock and Roll Salvation
Radical Reinvention

After I watched my creative brain child come to life, I gave it away. I mailed it to one of my closest friends who could use the inspiration. Recovery is about building back up what was lost. It’s also about connecting with others. I had fun doing both with this project.
